Your work at Misereor

Misereor is committed to helping people worldwide who are denied a life of dignity and freedom, regardless of skin color, origin, gender or religion. Together with partners in Africa, Asia and Latin America, Misereor helps people to improve their lives sustainably. In Germany and Europe, the organization draws attention to the causes of injustice, poverty and climate change and calls for political change. The episcopal aid organization Misereor supports a large number of church and secular organizations in development cooperation in the Pacific region. A Dialogue and Liaison Office (DVS) has been set up in Suva to strengthen cooperation and expand the range of partners. It supports the partner organizations in development projects and promotes their lobbying and networking work. Key issues for the partner organizations are the consequences of climate change, the effects of mining and deep-sea mining as well as peace work and conflict transformation.
